Cómpeta is a beautiful destination for people who like culture, peace and nature during their holiday. It is a typical Andalusian white mountain village, 55 km from Málaga and 18 km from the coast, where ancient traditions are honored. It is located in the Axarquia region at an altitude of 636 meters, at the foot of the Sierra Almijara y Tejeda.
Cómpeta has various facilities, such as several ATMs, banks, several smaller supermarkets, a shop with local artisan products, pharmacies, an ambulance station that is manned 7 days a week and a large municipal swimming pool. The village has many bars and restaurants where you can eat on their cozy terraces.
Cómpeta is known for the Moscatel wine, there are several bodegas and in the local museum you can learn more about the history of the village. During the year there are parties in Cómpeta as well as in the surrounding villages celebrating the patron saints and the local produce, the Noche del Vino (night of wine) on August 15 is the most famous festival in the region.
The nature park is a popular place for walkers, horse riders and cyclists. In the village there are two companies that provide various excursions in the area.

Casa Los Dos is therefore an ideal location to undertake various activities and return to an oasis of tranquility in the evening.
From Cómpeta you can make various day trips.
Casa Los Dos is about 4 km away from Cómpeta and therefore we can enjoy complete peace without any disturbances from noise or light pollution (“night”).
You can reach us from Málaga by highway to Algorrobbo which takes about half an hour. Then half an hour to Cómpeta. Our village is located at an altitude of 650 m and we are slightly lower at 420 m, with a fantastic view of the Mediterranean.
You can also take us from the direction of Nerja by taking the exit Torrox, also half an hour away.

Once arrived you can enjoy our home which will also be your home during your stay.
Do nothing for a day, read a book, plan trips for the following days, a long walk in the nature park or a day at the beach.
